What does a fractional marketing lead do?
Think of me as the conductor who can also pick up an instrument. I look at all the pieces, figure out what the business needs right now, and either point the right people at it or do it myself. That covers strategy, budgets and campaign direction, plus hands-on execution when that’s the fastest way to get it done.
When should we hire a fractional lead instead of an agency?
Agencies are built to deliver a set scope. I start with the business problem, work out which pieces matter most, then build the plan and make sure it gets executed, by your team, your partners or me. If you already know exactly what you need produced, an agency may be all you need. If you need someone to figure out what to do and make it happen, that’s where I come in.
What do you mean by "marketing moves in phases"?
Businesses have busy seasons and quiet ones. Some months call for a launch, a press push or an event. Others need steady upkeep and honest reporting. I adjust the work and the budget to what’s actually happening in your business, so you’re not paying for a full-throttle push in a quiet month.
What are your engagement options?
Four ways: a Strategy Consult Call (a one-time working session on a specific question), a Diagnostic Sprint (a fixed project that audits your marketing and delivers a prioritized 90-day roadmap), a Fractional Marketing Lead retainer (ongoing senior leadership with your team), or, for the right team, a full-time in-house role. Custom scopes are on the table too.
How is pricing set?
Strategy calls and diagnostic sprints have fixed prices. Fractional work is a monthly retainer based on scope and hours, with a 3-month minimum. Share a bit about what you need and I'll send a clear quote.
Do you handle PR, influencer programs and events?
Yes. I started in PR, and I've run creator and influencer programs, store-opening activations and launch content. When a project needs production, I bring in trusted photographers and creative partners.
What industries do you work with?
Consumer brands with a real story behind them: hospitality (restaurants, hotels, bars), CPG, retail concepts, specialty food, coffee and home. Local Austin brands and national launches both.
Where are you based? Do you work remotely?
I'm based in Austin, Texas and open to remote and hybrid work. Consulting engagements are usually remote, with in-person time in Austin when it helps.
Are you open to full-time roles?
Yes, for the right team. I’m open to senior marketing leadership roles where I can build and lead the function. The industry and title matter less to me than the work: a brand with a real story and a team that’s ready to grow.
